What inspires your designs and your creative philosophy?
My creative philosophy at The Oza Woman is inspired by everything I see around me. I also draw inspiration from the kind of clients I aim to serve. My designs are primarily focused on creating modest yet tastefully finished outfits that fully meet the needs of our clients.
What are some unique elements or features that set your designs apart from others in the fashion industry?
Some of the distinctive features that set our designs apart include the meticulous use of embellishments. We craft clean, simple designs and then add embellishments like appliqués, trimmings, and other luxury elements to create exquisite outfits that enhance the beauty of the fabric.
How do you incorporate cultural or regional influences into your designs?
Cultural influences are integral to our design process, particularly for our traditional aso-oke brides. We use traditionally woven aso-oke fabric to create luxury bridal wear, paying homage to cultural roots and providing brides with a special connection to their heritage on their special day.
Could you share some insights into the materials and fabrics you prefer to use in your creations, and why?
We predominantly work with bridal fabrics such as luxury laces, silk, satin, and appliqués. These materials are selected for their quality and ability to enhance the beauty of our designs. Additionally, we’re open to using fabrics provided by clients, allowing each creation to be a unique expression of their vision.
Are there specific design techniques or methods that are signature to The Oza Woman’s style?
While our approach is adaptable, our signature style focuses on creating designs that are comfortable, elegant, and timeless. We want our clients to feel at ease in our outfits while showcasing the beauty of the fabric. That’s a key hallmark of our brand.

Thank you for the question. Indeed, we are looking to expand The Oza Woman beyond Nigeria. One of our primary targets is the United Kingdom (UK). We intend to establish a physical store in the UK to better serve our clients and fashion enthusiasts there.
